Quilt Plano 2022 Raffle - "Bag Bonanza"
"Bag Bonanza" was started from an idea by Sara Lindsay to create a quilter's "trousseau", and at 26 items (including an Oliso Mini Iron), it is everything a quilter could need to travel with and store things in! The items included are majority bags (e.g., a necessary clutch wallet, a messenger bag, a train case, etc.) but also included are some items to kit out a sewing area (e.g., sewing machine mat and cover, thread/scrap catcher, etc.) as well as some items that you can use at home or on retreats (like a pillowcase). All items (with the exception of the iron, since it's not a handmade item) were handmade using fabric from the "Cider" line by BasicGrey for Moda Fabrics, and when needed and available, hardware from Emmaline Bags. Items were created by the following guild members: Dolores Williams, Donna Petrick, Pam Walsh, Sara Lindsay, Patsy Padgett, Diane Poor, and Ashley Stovall.
